FOODSERVICE PURCHASING
ASSOCIATION OF CANADA
About FPAC

The Foodservice Purchasing Association...

...highlights the food purchasing profession as a significant part of a management team

in the foodservice and hospitality industry.

Whatever the title, Director, Procurer, Purchasing Agent, or Buyer,

your position carries tremendous accountability and responsibility.

Changes to the foodservice and hospitality industry continue,

and the role of the purchaser becomes more and more challenging.

Decisions purchasers make have a direct impact on their companies' success.

The Association furthers the knowledge of purchasers

through regularly-scheduled dinner meetings. At these meetings,

members are brought up-to-date on a wide variety of current topics

pertaining to today's trends and challenges.

In addition to meetings, FPAC publishes INFOPAC,

a newsletter for members and associate members. The newsletter

keeps the membership apprised of recent and future activities.

FPAC also offers several opportunities for members to socialize throughout the year

at such events as our Annual Golf Tournament,

our Woodbine "Evening at the Races", and our Christmas Gala.

Our membership has grown from six purchasers and suppliers in 1983

to well over one hundred active Purchasers and Associate Members.

A membership in FPAC is an opportunity to network

with fellow purchasers and colleagues

within the foodservice and hospitality industry.

FPAC is a non-profit association supporting four local colleges and universities

through the FPAC Scholarship Fund. The successful recipients

are awarded funds to further their education in the foodservice and hospitality industry.

As a member of FPAC, you and your company will benefit significantly

by your participation. The cost is nominal and the returns, exceptional!
